The Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales is one of the busiest event grounds between Baton Rouge and New Orleans — a main arena, covered barns, and exhibition buildings on a single campus, running everything from trade shows and gun shows to rodeos, festivals, and home-and-garden expos.
Gulf Coast Event Services is twenty minutes up I-10 in Baton Rouge. We bring the drape, carpet, and signage on our own trucks, set the floor to the building’s schedule, and are close enough to fix anything same-day. No freight terminal, no crew flying in from out of state.

Lamar Dixon is really several venues at once — the main Arena for large shows and general sessions, the covered barns for livestock and open-air expos, and the exhibition buildings for trade shows and vendor fairs. Each space needs a different build, and we carry the drape, carpet, and staging to outfit any of them.
Because we are local, we can plan load-in across the campus, work around whatever else is booked that weekend, and be on site quickly when a show grows at the last minute. A lot of Ascension Parish's recurring shows come back to the same buildings year after year.
